Cruising is one of my favorite ways to travel!
Find a list below of some of the things that I prefer to pack when I cruise and some of my general travel must haves.
Power strips are not allowed on cruises and will be confiscated at check-in. I link to an multi device wall charger that I use as an alternative.
Irons and steamers are also not allowed on cruises and will be confiscated at check-in. I link to a spray I use when cruising as an alternative.
You can bring snacks on board! Not full cases, but a few of your favorite snacks can be great to have around.
You’ll be in the sun a lot so remember all your sun preparation and recovery products.
Most surfaces in cruise cabins are metal. Magnets are a great way to add organization to the space.
This adapter let’s me plug in 5 devices at the same time and has become a travel staple!
Spray this on your clothes and hang them up when you board the ship to relax wrinkles
Cruises are surrounded by water (literally and figuratively). Having a pair of water sandals can come in handy for showers or water activity days. These provide great support for walking.
Some of the ocean and pool floors can be a bit harsh on feet. These shoes are super comfy and great in the water.
Don’t forget to pack a bag to take off the ship on port days. Mesh beach bags with a zipper are my personal favorite.
These little grips are one of the coolest phone attachments! Once attached to your phone you can take photos and videos almost anywhere without help.
Keep your phone dry and close with a waterproof phone case that hangs around your neck.
Attach this to your phone and walk around hands free without pockets or bags.
Showers can be slippery and it’s often difficult to tell if they have handle bars. Travel with these suction bars if you’re accustomed to having something to hold on to.
Dramamine is the #1 motion sickness medication. Having some around in case you need it is always a great idea.
Not a fan of medication? These wristbands have the same benefits without the meds.
It gets HOT in the countries where cruises are popular. A small fan can go a long way to help you keep cool.
My phone tends to die quickly when I’m cruising between photos, games, and scrolling social media A portable charger keeps me mobile and connected throughout the day.
I’m super particular about the water that I drink so this was I hot find for me. I prefer use these filtered bottles at the provided water stations to make sure my water is as filtered and possible without having to purchase bottled water.
